Software Development

Custom business software, connected workflows, and APIs built around your operations.

Built around your reality.

We design and build custom business applications, operational platforms, and APIs. We connect workflows, define access rules, and verify the important data changes and failure cases. Architecture, integrations, deployment, and handover are agreed around the needs of each project.

What you walk away with.

The deliverables below describe work we can discuss for your project. The included features, integrations, tests, and handover materials are specified in your project agreement.

  • Custom Business Applications & Operational Platforms
  • API Design & System Integrations
  • Relational Data Models, Queries & Migrations
  • Roles, Access Rules & Workspace Boundaries
  • Automated Workflow, Failure & Integration Checks
  • Project Source Code & Technical Documentation

Outside this service.

  • Legacy COBOL / mainframe hardware maintenance
  • On-premise hardware cabling or server room physical installation
  • Unvetted third-party black-box script patching without code audit

Source files & handover

After the agreed payment conditions are met, we deliver the source files and documentation listed in your project agreement. That agreement defines rights to custom work and licenses for existing tools and third-party components.

Every decision matters.

Custom Architecture vs Low-Code

Custom development can adapt to specific workflows and integrations, but requires an initial build budget and ongoing hosting and maintenance. Off-the-shelf or low-code tools may suit standard needs; ownership, licenses, and operating costs depend on the chosen solution.

PostgreSQL Relational Storage vs NoSQL

Relational databases support structured relationships and transactions. The choice depends on your data, query patterns, and operating requirements; no database removes the need for correct application logic, backups, and testing.

From first conversation to delivery.

Your project timeline is agreed after we review the scope, integrations, and technical requirements. Your proposal sets out the delivery milestones and responsibilities.

Technical Discovery & Schema Modeling

We clarify the main workflows, users, integrations, and data requirements, then agree the scope, milestones, and acceptance criteria before development.

Core Architecture & Sprint Cycles

We build the agreed features in stages, share review versions, and record feedback and scope changes as the project progresses.

Testing & Review

We test the agreed user journeys and review access controls, integrations, and performance against the project requirements. Specialist audits and load testing are scoped where needed.

Production Cutover & Observability

We agree the release plan, verify deployment and any required rollback steps, and hand over the source files and documentation included in the project agreement.

A little more perspective.

A few things worth knowing.

A few answers to help you plan your project. Commitments specific to your engagement are defined in your project agreement.

Do you build MVPs or only enterprise platforms?

We can scope an initial product release or improvements to an existing platform. The timeline depends on the features, integrations, and review requirements; we agree milestones after discovery. Later growth may require further development or architectural changes.

Can our in-house developers participate during the build?

Yes. We work in shared Git repositories with transparent PR reviews, branch policies, and continuous deployment environments.

What happens after the product launches?

Post-launch support is scoped separately in your project agreement, including any defect correction period, maintenance tasks, and response times. Ongoing maintenance and new features require an agreed scope and budget.

Let’s build a digital product that feels inevitable.

Tell us about your goals, constraints, and priorities. We will review the scope and next steps before agreeing a timeline and budget.
